Rustic but serviceable

Site all gravel or grass. Spotting your spot number at night is a walking job. On-site Cafe looks like it closed for the foreseeable future. No frills, but everything you need for a quick rv stop. Nothing really nearby.

Nice but close neighbors

Overall, this is a very nice clean place to stay. It was originally a KOA but is now privately owned. It does have nice facility showers brought back it is that the site are very close to each other.

Stopover on I-10

This was a good one night stop. Not much around the area. Park is very open with not much shade and very close to each other. Pool needed some TLC but there is a nice pool area to sit and relax. Good individual restrooms/showers. Full hook up site with E/W/S and cable. Laundry facility available. There was a restaurant on site but not open the day we were there.

Great stop for the night or even a couple of days

Clean grounds, fenced dog park and decent pool make this an ideal stop for those traveling the I-10 or looking for a spot for a couple of nights. A little close to the highway but the traffic noise is not too bad

Great spot on I-10!

Traveling with Class A 38' RV.

Good spot right off the highway on the east side of Fort Stockton with 30/50 amp spot. We pulled in just for a quick overnight on our way west. Easy pull thru spots and onsite cafe (Not open every day). Onsite Laundry and Showers. Swimming pool seemed maintained but was definitely cold. Playground for the kids was just a couple swings but it was something. Would stay again!

Nice park near Hwy 10.

Fort Stockton RV Park is a clean, nice stop close to Highway 10. They have 30/50 amp FHU very spacious sites. There are pull-thru and back-in available. There is a nice pool and even a cafe on site that serves breakfast and dinner. Good home cooking! If you have a dog, they will love the large dog-run. This was a great stop while traveling.

Great Overnight Stop

Park has plenty of large sites with full hookups. ATT and Verizon service were both good here. They do have a dog park and a restaurant on site as well. Nothing too fancy about this place, but it's a nice spot to spend the night if you are passing through. There is a walking trail just outside the park that has large areas of trash and abandoned vehicles, which is why I gave the 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, everything was as expected.

Fine for passing through

Fort Stockton RV park was not what I was expecting for the money, but it served our purpose and was clean, the staff was friendly and the sites were fairly level. Not quite the desert oasis they advertised, but it was a one nighter, so it was fine. Downtown Fort Stockton had a lot of history and we enjoyed driving around and checking it out.

Nice clean park

Nice clean park with pool, laundry/showers and large dog park. There is a café on site and provides home cooked meals at a reasonable price. Dump station and propane on site. All hookups are 30/50 amp electric with water and sewer. Many drive through sites to accommodate large rigs or rigs towing a vehicle. Free WiFi. There is also a tenting area with parking for tenters.

Great Facility the second time here

Fort Stockton is in the middle of nowhere along I-10. But it makes a great stopping point between San Antonio and El Paso. The people are great. The park is reasonably priced. This is our go to place.

Beautiful place

When we pulled in late, there were birds chirping in the trees and animals to welcome us. It was a nice place with a beautiful sunset. The night check in was easy to follow. The tent camping area was a little bright from lights far away but it was secure. Such a beautiful spot

Stop over haven

This is a nice place to linger while driving through Texas. While windy, it was pleasant.

The owners are very particular about things and have $50 fines for parking on the grass, leaving masks on the ground, not picking up after your per etc. Even after the threats, we still enjoyed our stay.

They have a pool, cafe, laundry rooms, and a dog park.

The Roadrunner Cafe was excellent and was a comforting meal after a long day on the road!

Nice park. Easy access to I-10

Former KOA with friendly staff. Has a pool and a huge dog park. Kids park is sub par. Close to I-10 so there is freeway noise. We would definitely stay here again for a one night stop.

Perfect Stop Along I-10

We stopped at Fort Stockton on our way West through Texas and we loved our stay. Easy hookups, late check-in available and efficient, quiet park, and a lovely place to spend the night. Woke up to bird sounds and owls with a lovely sunrise over the hills in West Texas.

Also easy to navigate to as it's directly off of the Interstate!

Windiest Place on Earth

We had been to this place a few times. They are very nice, clean facility, and when there is not COVID the restaurant is great. This is right off the highway an easy off and on. Few miles from any sort of stores which is also kind of nice. They have a great dog park.

The reason for the 3 stars is because every time we had stayed there it is transient all night long. Meaning there are no quiet hours. The wind is extreme at this park. I could not believe the wind. An important piece of information is every time I had come through this park it was winter. That may play a part in it. Most times were December thru February. Lastly, the sites are small. Literally you can hear and see everything your neighbor is doing. I had done this trip in RV and tent.

FANTASTIC place to stop

If you RV enough, you will run into these places. The staff HATE travelers, and they hate their job. Fort Stockton RV is NOT one of these places!!! From the first contact with office staff while making reservations, to the check in, to the Maintance guy (Joe) stopping by. This place ROCKS! This is a full service park. 30/50 amp with full hookup and Breakfast every morning. Fort Stockton IS in the middle of no where, but if you find yourself half way between San Antonio and El Paso on I-10, make this your stop.

Just to recommend the Roadrunner Cafe at Fort Stockton RV Park. We got the chicken fried steak and eggs with grits and toast, to go, they are fast service yet very tasty and hot. Which is extremely convenient for us folks passing through that don't want the mess of cleaning up after breakfast. Thank You Roadrunner for great service and food!

Nice campground right off i 10

Nice campground just east of town of Fort Stockton. Lots of sites, looks like they can accommodate any of your camping needs. Propane, ice, small store. Roadrunner restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. Traveling i 10 east or west, this seems to be a nice stopping point. Fort Stockton has a Walmart, Loves Travel center, Flying J and more. The sites are pretty close to level , so not much to set up, full hookups, including cable and wifi, cell service is good. Desert views from campground.

Great Campground when traveling through

Went to Fort Stockton it was the Fort Stockton RV Park. Was a nice park not the best but would go back. They had a restaurant on site that did Breakfast and Dinner, we did not take part in it but folks were saying it was good. We went to explore and found the Walmart.

The folks are very nice. We have now stayed there 3 times and would go back. The area does not have a lot to offer other than it is a great starting point to head into Big Bend and stock up there.

Close to I 10 but not right on it so you hear traffic but not super bad.
