Great Spot
This campground is right by the creek with a close by checking station. Definitely a must if in the Cherokee National Forest. Bathrooms and trash cans there.
Great spot for camping!
North River Road has a more developed campground with multiple sites, picnic tables, fire pits, and bathrooms. This campground costs a small fee (not sure how much, we just passed through). There are more campsites along North River Road, and this is where we camped. Some are along the creek, and there are sites big enough for groups. We enjoyed camping here at campsite 6 (multiple spots at 6) and would go back!
Pretty but Alcohol Not Allowed
Pretty but don’t plan on taking any alcohol. It isn’t allowed at this campground and it’s the same with most campgrounds or sites in this area.
