Horseshoe Bend Marina is a secluded get away situated on the scenic head waters of Center Hill Lake.  Our marina is only (by water) a mile from Rock Island State Park's Sand Bar and boat ramp.  It is the perfect place to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.  Whether you are wanting to go boating, fishing, or camping, we have quite a bit to offer. 

As one of the few marinas on Center Hill Lake that stays open year 'round, we rent boats, boat slips, and camp sites.  Fall scenic tours and year 'round guided fishing tours are available also.  We have a boat ramp that is easily accessible even when the lake water level is low.  Our store offers a variety of drinks, snacks, camping supplies, boating supplies, and fishing supplies.

## Overview

Floating Mill Park is located on the shores of the scenic Center Hill Lake on central Tennessee's Highland Rim.   
  
The lake stretches 64 miles up the Caney Fork River, where visitors come to enjoy boating, fishing and water sports. The 415 miles of forested shoreline provide excellent hiking, hunting and camping opportunities.

## Recreation

Boating, waterskiing, canoeing and fishing are popular activities on the water.   
  
Anglers will find bream, walleye, smallmouth bass, crappie, catfish and white bass. Below the dam, the Caney Fork River is one of the most productive trout fisheries in the state.   
  
Nine miles of hiking trails meander around the lake. The Lost Springs Trail loops for two miles above the campground and Hurricane Marina.

## Facilities

This large campground provides a wide variety of campsites, most of which have electric and water hookups. Several tent-only sites are provided, several of which are beautiful lakefront sites.   
  
A day-use group picnic area is available for reservations. It can accommodate up to 125 guests, with a large shelter and picnic tables. Water and 30-amp electric hookups are included.   
  
Amenities like flush toilets, showers and drinking water are provided, creating a comfortable camping experience for guests. A boat ramp, fish cleaning station, playground and hiking trail are all conveniently located within the campground.

## Natural Features

Center Hill Lake is surrounded by lush mixed hardwood forests in the hilly Highland Rim region. Whitetail deer, wild turkey, squirrels and rabbits roam the wooded hills around the lake.   
  
Floating Mill Park is surrounded by the lake on three sides, providing sweeping waterfront views. 

## Nearby Attractions

Edgar Evins State Park, about 25 minutes from Floating Mill, sits on the shores of the lake. An observation tower at the Visitor Center offers a spectacular view of Center Hill Lake and the surrounding hillsides.   
  
Burgess Falls State Park is a 35-minute drive from the campground. Here, the Falling Water River drops approximately 250 feet, creating numerous breathtaking waterfalls. Hiking trails and overlooks help visitors enjoy the scenery. The large Native Butterfly Garden is a popular attraction within the park.

Our campground is just a 5-minute drive to Center Hill Lake and Hurricane Marina where you can rent pontoon boats. We are also just a 12-minute drive from Edgar Evins State Park where you will find 3 boat launches on Center Hill Lake and 11 miles of hiking trails. Nearby outfitter Canoe the Caney offers kayak and canoe rentals and is a Trip Advisor Travelers Choice Award Winner. The combined offerings on our property and within a very short drive make this the perfect campsite for those who like to canoe, kayak, hike, fish, boat, and water ski. 

The Goose campsite is located 0.72 miles from the front entry gate. It sleeps up to 6 campers - two on the Queen bed in the 10 x 12 platform safari tent and up to 4 additional campers in the included pop-up tent. The site also comes with a picnic table, fire pit, and Adirondack chairs where you can kick back and take in the stars at night. Our campsite is also pet-friendly with a small pet fee.

There is a Tentrr Loo (camping potty) at your campsite for convenience. Campers will also be able to access two full bathrooms with showers at the Pavilion in the front of the farm. However, the Tentrr Loo is convenient if you need to use the restroom in the middle of the night.

Please note that during the month of October that we host the Halloween Hollow Haunt on our property.  It is operational on weekends (Friday through Sunday) through the end of October and is open from 7 PM to 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays 7 PM to 10 PM on Sundays.   This attraction is at the front of our farm and not near the tent locations.

If you need basic provisions during your stay, there is a Dollar General store 1 mile from the property.

To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Tentrr Signature Site - Fanboy at Defenders Retreat - Site E

Defenders Retreat at Silver Point is a private campground just over an hour from Nashville directly off I-40. The expansive 259-acre property has a pavilion and the use of two private bathrooms. There are 12 individual Tentrr sites on the property.

Campers are within minutes of amazing hiking at Cummins Falls State Park and Burgess Falls Natural Area.  We are also ideally located close to wineries, distilleries, and lots of wildlife. An outdoor concert stage is coming soon for weekend concerts on the property.

Our campground is just a 5-minute drive to Center Hill Lake and Hurricane Marina where you can rent pontoon boats. We are also just a 12-minute drive from Edgar Evins State Park where you will find 3 boat launches on Center Hill Lake and 11 miles of hiking trails. Nearby outfitter Canoe the Caney offers kayak and canoe rentals and is a Trip Advisor Travelers Choice Award Winner. The combined offerings on our property and within a very short drive make this the perfect campsite for those who like to canoe, kayak, hike, fish, boat, and water ski. 

The Payback campsite is located 0.7 miles from the front entry gate. It sleeps up to 6 campers - two on the Queen bed in the 10 x 12 platform safari tent and up to 4 additional campers. The site also comes with a picnic table, fire pit, and Adirondack chairs where you can kick back and take in the stars at night. Our campsite is also pet-friendly with a small pet fee.

There is a Tentrr Loo (camping potty) at your campsite for convenience. Campers will also be able to access two full bathrooms with showers at the Pavilion in the front of the farm. However, the Tentrr Loo is convenient if you need to use the restroom in the middle of the night.

Please note that during the month of October that we host the Halloween Hollow Haunt on our property.  It is operational on weekends (Friday through Sunday) through the end of October and is open from 7 PM to 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays 7 PM to 10 PM on Sundays.   This attraction is at the front of our farm and not near the tent locations.

If you need basic provisions during your stay, there is a Dollar General store 1 mile from the property.

Dogs must always be on a leash when outside. Dogs are not to be left in the tents unattended. Please clean up after your pets to avoid a cleaning fee. Pet waste bags will be provided.

Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! 

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that___s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. 

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. 

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

-S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat
-A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
