Hawkins Pointe RV Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Day-trippers and overnight travelers passing through the Chattanooga corridor will find Hawkins Pointe RV Park a functional stopover in Rossville, Georgia, positioned close to the Tennessee border and the interstate. Sites are gravel with some grass, laid out in an open, treeless configuration with no shrubs or natural screening. Pull-through access makes arrivals and departures straightforward. The Holiday Travel Park is one of the nearest alternatives in the area, though Hawkins Pointe draws its own steady stream of travelers heading to or from Chattanooga.

Full hookups including electric, water, and sewer are available at each site, along with picnic tables and WiFi. The park includes a fenced dog park with a wash station, a fire pit with seating, and a cornhole setup. No bathhouse or pool is on-site. Sites sit close together, which reviewers note is a reasonable trade-off for a one-night stop. Staff in the office consistently receive positive mentions for being helpful and accommodating.

One noise factor worth planning around: a racing track sits nearby. Drew H. describes it as "quiet and near good food," though Missy C. notes that on race nights, engine sounds from the track carry into the park. RV repair shops and a Camping World are within easy reach for anyone needing service. Rates run $70 to $85 per night. Campers exploring campsites near Fort Oglethorpe will find Hawkins Pointe a convenient base for reaching both sides of the state line.

Super people, well maintained.

Very nice camp ground right beside the interstate. On the TN/GA boarder. Easy to get to anything. Chattanooga, TN is right there s ok much to see and do. No bathhouse, pool or other amenities. Does have very nice place to walk, dog park/wash,corn hole, fire pit with two chairs to use. We loved it there. Check the price. Pull thru sites with picnic table.

Close to highway

Close to everything. Racing just down the street. That’s a positive or negative. On the nights they are racing you hear I’m the cars at the track. There are no amenities but they do have a fenced dog park. The sites aren’t bad there’s just no shrubs or trees or anything. It’s just really good gravel and some grass and a picnic table. The people in the office are really nice and helpful. If you need work on your rig, there are lots of places real close by as well as camping world.
