Close to a neighborhood, but still private

We found a great spot right along the Missouri river in the Oacoma Flats. The particular road we took was a little soft and rutted, but the van made it through just fine. Not sure how a big rig would do, but there were other spaces and roads that looked easier to access. The space was incredible! You can hear the Missouri River, lots of birds, and even fish jumping at dusk. The space was level, and although there were two other campers in the area when we got there, both left so we had the whole place to ourselves from about 6 PM until the next morning. We didn’t walk around, so don’t know if there were any vault toilets, but none were visible from where we were staying. There was a gas station and an Arby’s nearby for food and drink.
