Set up my pop up in #4. Large, beautiful private sites. Gorgeous trails within walking distance. Great opportunity to see wildlife. Lots of mosquitoes, but not miserably so. Short drive to the beach.
Beautiful, large, private sites. You couldn’t see our site from the road, huge site, lots of woods surrounding for kids to play and explore, right beside a gorgeous large creek.

Campground is okay. Sites are on the smaller side, no privacy from each other, and campground is on a steep hill so walking to bathhouse is a good workout every time. Chau Ram itself is a beautiful park worthy of at least a full day trip.
Would have been better if it weren’t for the construction and site improvements. Even though quiet time is until 7, there were construction noises starting at 6:30 every morning we were there with their trucks flying down the campground roads. Very disappointing we couldn’t get the full relaxing experience this park could offer.
Stayed at site 17. The campground was more private that a lot of state park campgrounds, it was dark and quiet at night, and the trails backed right up to the campsites!
Sites are a little smaller but still a gorgeous and relaxing way to spend the weekend
Beautiful view, but very cramped campsites. Clean bathrooms and showers. Nice ball field and playground right on the beach area.
