Rude Staff

Standard crabgrass parking lot with drunks driving around on golf carts and RV's stacked on top of each other. The woman who runs the office is a very angry person and it made the entire visit unpleasant, which is no surprise as she has been hostile and unwelcoming the several times I've visited. Pool looks nice though I guess, I've never dared to use it for fear of breaking one of the many unwritten and unspoken rules. A great place for people who enjoy eating dinner next to your neighbor's septic pipe. I called to ask if they allowed dogs and was told "NO" just to arrive and be asked to park next to the dog park.

Nice Campground

Nice campground, a mix of seasonal & short-term visitors. The sites are VERY close, but the people are nice and we had a great stay. It is a quick drive to the beach, we loved Westerly & Misquamicut Beaches. Lots to do in the area and stores if needed.

My kids enjoyed playing tennis & swimming in the pool at the campground - there is also mini-golf, but we didn't get the chance to play. If the sites were a little further apart & had some trees to provide shade it would be great! It is a good place to use as a "home-base" to explore & enjoy the area. We would definitely stop in again if we are visiting the area.

*Favorite restaurant Windjammer Surf Bar - great view, good food.
