Description
Open BLM high ground above Owyhee Lake in southeastern Oregon offers wide panoramic views of the reservoir and the rugged canyon country surrounding it. A fire ring is in place, though wood must be packed in. The approach via Upper Tunnel Road demands high clearance and low-range gearing — especially from the river side — and the remoteness means no cell signal once you arrive.
