Tucked along a year-round creek in Siskiyou National Forest, Tin Can Campground sits at the end of remote access roads that deter casual visitors. The US Forest Service manages this small site where campers often find themselves alone, particularly during winter months when snow covers the surrounding terrain. Hiking trails branch out from the campground into the forest, and pets are welcome throughout the area.

The creek provides a constant water source and ambient sound, while the remote location means limited cell service and minimal traffic noise. For campers seeking more developed facilities, Big Pine Campground offers additional amenities several miles away.

Remote

This is a remote campround. It sits on a year round creek. You will most likely have the whole place to yourself. Beautiful hiking trails throughout the area. We like to camp here especially in the snow!
