Ennis Riffle

Ennis Riffle is one of the many designated areas to camp and boat and recreate along the Rogue River.  Some areas are free and some are pay.  Ennis is $15/night for camping and $5/day for day use.

This whole area is beautiful and green, and nice to be on the water when it gets hot in town in the summer.

Ennis Riffle camping area is nice and large and open, with easy access to the water.  The ground is rocky dirt.  There isn't much in terms of flat level areas for an RV, nor is there much shade.  There's a garbage bin as well as a portapotty on the camping side (to the left as you come in off the road), and a sump toilet on the right side where the boat ramp is.

We opted not to stay the night here only because of the nightly fee, but if we weren't able to find a free spot we would definitely come here.  When we drove through in early May there were no campers there.

There is no cell service anywhere in the Galice area.  Cell booster didn't help us.

Also close to the river. It gets very busy on holiday weekends. Also beware of camping here during the rainy season. The water covers the entire campground.
