Beautiful spot with easy access

The drive in is gorgeous and the spots are nice with plenty of distance between. There are only 5 or 6 spots off the main road, but you can drive a bit further and camp on the dried up lake bed (depending on water height).

There is also a mountain bike trail at the end of the road with varying degrees of difficulty.

Beautiful spot

Beautiful spot near Phillips Lake. Unfortunately this spot is not on the waters edge at the moment since lake levels are low, but it is still beautiful none-the-less. Lots of wildlife. Had coyotes go through the area last night which was pretty loud, and we think we’ve been hearing elk bugling…but we are unsure. Lots of birds and other creatures as well.

Good place to spend the night

Stopped here for one night on a cross country road trip. 20 minutes off of 84. 3 immediate sites off the road, then toilets, then more sites down the road. Past toilets road is slightly washed. Road noise is present from first 3 sites
