Siuslaw National Forest Riveredge Group Campground

This is a group site. It holds up to 100 people and 16-20 vehicles depending if you bring trailers in. It has two bathrooms (4 total) and they are vault toilets. There is lots of area for tents and it’s like mowed wild grass. It sits along the Alsea River. You can float (early season), and also fish (check your regulations). It has a large pavilion for cooking (built in double bbq and a single faucet sink. Lots of large tables and a huge fire pit in the pavilion. Outside there is a giant stone fire pit for plenty to gather around. There are two faucets. No power, or hookups of any kind.

The nightly rate is expensive, but it’s designed for large groups like family reunions, class reunions, corporate retreats, friends/family getaway, you name it. That way it’s very affordable when split amongst a few. It’s a must visit campground. Reservations only, 3 day advance and you can book a year out. It’s very popular and books quickly.

Only 30 minutes to Waldport for all your basic needs or rent a boat for crab/fishjng.
