Clean ,comfortable, safe, quiet nice stay would/will stay again

Amazing little place with the nicest people. Clean and comfortable restrooms/showers. Beautiful night sky. 10/10 recommend. Adorable tiny town. Maybe our favorite campground of our whole trip.

This is not a fancy place, but it is clean, well tended, quiet and beautiful. After 10 hours driving, I just wanted a quiet place to sleep. This was exactly that. I paid $35 for a pull through and a 30amp hookup for my teardrop. There are bathrooms which are immaculately clean. All in all, this place is a great find.

This is a safe, clean, quiet overnight stopover (not a destination, nor advertised as one - rating reflects this). We found the same-day after hours check-in to be easy and clearly explained, prices reasonable, and restroom facilities exceptionally clean. We were on our way home from a longer trip and decided not to drive all the way through, found this last-minute and were very happy. We would stop overnight here again in a heartbeat. We had cell coverage though I didn't note the details. Decent WiFi (free!).

To be honest, this is really a place to overnight on the way somewhere. That being said, the sites are level with full amenities - pull-throughs and easy back-ins. The restrooms and laundry are spotless. The host is very nice. The rates are very low. The location is quiet. The wind seems to never stop, though. Little shade. Plenty of sites. A couple of long-timers, but mostly 1-nighters. Should be plenty of last-minute spaces available.

Totally stopped here on a whim, and while simple, this place is absolutely perfect for the rustic RV’r. The surrounding landscapes are ‘stunning’ and the peace and quiet, absolute.

While old, the restrooms and showers were very well maintained and absolutely immaculate. And I’m an admitted and unabashed germaphobe.

Definitely will return.

I'm on a road trip of the John Day Fossil Bed Units. I stopped in Moro, OR for a couple of days to resupply before heading to Cottonwood Canyon State Park. This is another small town, fairgrounds campground, but it's awesome. Quiet, clean with a great open, off leash area for dogs and full hookups. At the time of the writing they also have an awesome host! There aren't many supply options in town so if you need major groceries, go to The Dalles, propane go to Wasco, gas go to Biggs or the Dalles.....you get the picture. Moro also has a must see museum.
