About

National Forest

Umatilla National Forest

Nestled amongst trees such as Engelmann spruce and other conifers, this popular campground has ample shade and a hiking trail, not to mention it is close to the beautiful North Fork Umatilla Wilderness and the numerous trails and wildlife viewing it has to offer. Woodward Campground is situated on the edge of Langdon Lake, which is a private lake and therefore campers are unable to access it. However, some sites do offer a view of the water.

Great location, well kept!

Stayed here after being disappointed with McDougal dispersed camping. I'm a senior so my stay was $6 a night. I am really glad I stayed. Quiet, clean, uncrowded, beautiful and well kept. Camp site's are small to large. There is a view of a private lake. Very little noise.

Elk bugling all night!

We were the only campers here when we pulled in. Gorgeous pine forest all around, lake view though it’s private so no access. Cute cabins around lake. Super quiet until dark when the elk started their singing! So cool! Absolutely loved it. Spaces are far apart.
