Description

US Forest Service

Deschutes National Forest

The reservoir covers an area on the Deschutes River which was known as the Wickiup's. Wickiup Reservoir is highly productive, with relatively warm water and cooler deep channels generating some of the finest fishing in Central Oregon. The Wickiup Butte boating site features a paved boat ramp with small dirt parking area and a toilet. The dirt road accessing this site is rugged. The ramp is only accessible earlier in the season when water levels are high.
