A large paved sno-park lot off Three Creek Road, Upper Three Creek Sno-Park operates as a summer trailhead and overnight stop within Deschutes National Forest. Flush with trail access and functioning vault toilets, it gives hikers a practical staging point near Three Creek Lake and its surrounding creek drainages. The site accommodates rigs up to 50 feet. Pets are permitted, and Lower Three Creek Sno-Park sits roughly 1.4 miles northeast for campers who want a nearby alternative. The lodge on-site is closed during summer months. This location works best for those using it as a day-hike base or short overnight stop rather than a destination camp.
Description
North of Three Creek Lake, this sno-park provides access to 14 miles of nordic ski trails and several loop opportunities. To the south is the Moon Mountain/Bachelor area but the trail toward McKenzie Pass and Hoodoo is currently impassable due to damage and hazards from fire activity. View snowmobile area map here .
