Hikers and bikers will find trailheads along the access road into this dispersed area outside Sisters, making it a practical base for day trips into the surrounding open pine forest. The site has two or three designated pull-ins to the right of the bridge, with additional walk-in tent spots further in. Whychus Creek runs alongside the camp and is currently under restoration, so water access is limited to the audible backdrop it provides. Campfires are permitted, and the road in sees minimal traffic.
