Hardcore Duners will love it.

If you love the dunes at Winchester Bay, and are a hardcore ATV nut this is the place to stay.

Noisy and loud most of the time (day and night in the summer), this place offers few amenities but great access to the dunes.  Not a place for quiet camping....you will be a part of a larger roudy group most of the summer.  People come from all over the US to stay here and ride the best dunes in the country.

No water or power.  Dry camping only.  Fire rings provided.

Most sites are pull-though with some great LARGE group sites for bigger gatherings.  Even the largest rigs will fit here.

A short drive from town (Winchester Bay proper) and a little further to Reedsport, so getting supplies won't be an issue.

Great access to the mouth of the Umpqa river if you want to get some fishing or crabbing in.  Miles of open Beach is just a short walk away (great for Dogs!)

Don't forget the Oysters available at the marina in Winchester Bay (Umpqa Aquaculture, "Triangle" Oysters).  They are so yummy.

Been coming here every year for almost 20 years.

The go-to when all else is full

Lots of dune buggies and ATVs - but also a ton of sites and with good camp host representation.  The dunes just past this campground were the most glorious I saw.

Great location

This Campground is in a great location with direct access to the Winchester Bay Dunes.

Located in the woods this Campground feels more like calling then many of the other local campground. They do have sites large enough to accommodate trailers and campers however there are not any hookups. The restrooms are well maintained.

You can get to the dunes and the beach in minutes. There is a great view of a lighthouse.

Basic review for basic location

LArgentina open spaces for people who have toy haulers. Tons of noise all day and night. Come here if you have sand toys or horses!

Rest rooms but no showers. Basic fire rings and that's it.

Right next to the dunes!

RV and ATVer Paradise on the Oregon Dunes!

Camped many, many times here with friends. If you love ATVing, you'll love it here! If you want quiet/serenity, this ISN'T the place for you. The campground has easy access to the national park ATV riding area, and you can ride for miles here, with a LOT of different terrain (rolling hills, steep hills, trails). There is NO beach access for RIDING here, but you CAN walk to the beach, and there is access to the bay for crabbing/boating/swimming, as well as a pier near the entrance. The sand is NOT dusty like it is in Eastern Oregon, or California). The view of the Bay and ocean from the top of Banshee Hill is spectacular, and well worth the climb on your ATV/rail/buggy/RZR. This campground is county run, and allows alcohol only in the designated camping areas, and the camp sites are fairly open on pit run gravel. Great for getting RVs in and out without worry of getting stuck in sand. I rate this place an 8 (only thing missing is full hookup sites).
