Camas Sno-Park

This free Forest Service sno-park provides overnight camping on a large paved surface when snow park permits aren't required, typically from May through October. The site sits directly off Highway 140, making it easily accessible for RVs up to 50 feet without navigating steep, winding forest roads that lead to more established campgrounds. A pit toilet serves the area, and the paved surface accommodates multiple camping setups.

Campers can expect some highway noise from the nearby road, though visitors report the area remains relatively quiet. The location works well as a convenient overnight stop for those exploring campgrounds around Lakeview or traveling through the region without needing full campground amenities.

A free paved camping area with basic pit toilets that campers found convenient for overnight stays. Highway 140 proximity creates mixed noise experiences for visitors.

Not bad for what it is

Just a big paved area. Car camped here. A small outhouse. Right off of the 140 so will hear the traffic.

Oregon SnoParks are great!

Large paved surface with pit toilets that is free for overnight use when no-park permits aren't required (required November 1st to April 30th). Near Hwy 140 but was quiet.
