Along the Middle Fork of the Willamette River in Westfir, Oregon, Casey's Riverside RV Resort sits directly on the water, with some sites just feet from the bank. The campground accommodates rigs up to 75 feet, and reviewers consistently note that sites are paved, level, and require minimal setup work. Full hookups including electric, water, and sewer are standard, and water pressure runs strong enough that some campers travel with a pressure reducer. Trains occasionally pass on the opposite side of the river canyon, audible from camp. That detail is worth knowing before arrival.
Riverside sites in the high 30s through mid-40s give the closest views and the most audible sound of moving water. Site 52 sits near where two rivers converge. The back-in sites numbered 61 through 68 tend to draw families. As Steven H. puts it, "every site is big-rig friendly and almost perfectly level." Sites are uniformly sized along the river, and the campground runs at or near capacity during summer weekends and holidays, so early reservations matter.
Fishing draws a consistent share of visitors, and the river is accessible directly from camp. A pool is on-site, and the nearby town of Westfir is close enough for a bicycle ride, with a small lodge serving food and local beer. Oakridge, a short drive east, has additional resupply options. The campground has a fenced dog area, laundry, and a self-serve soft-serve ice cream machine running on the honor system.
WiFi slows noticeably during peak hours, mid-morning and late afternoon in particular, and Verizon users report around two bars of cell service. Individual fire pits are not at each site, though gas fire pits are available, and a group fire pit area exists on property. Fireworks are not permitted, which some campers specifically seek out during holiday weekends. Campers wanting a different setup can look at Middle Fork Ranger District (Hwy 58) or Dwayne Edwards for less-developed alternatives along the same corridor.
