Description
High-desert BLM land in southeast Oregon's Owyhee country, this open pullout sits above the dramatic Rome Cliffs and delivers wide views across the sagebrush badlands with little but wind and quiet for company. A well-graded BLM road leads to the turnoff, where a short two-track spur branches right to the camping area — passable for larger rigs in dry conditions, but the unimproved surface warrants caution after rain.
