Ouachita National Forest's Potato Hill Vista sits just off Highway 88/1, where a short side trail leads to a flat tent area with a stone fire ring. Access is walk-in only, taking roughly a minute from the trailhead. The site works well as an overnight stop for hikers on the Talimena corridor, and a nearby parking lot off the highway makes pickup or drop-off practical. Campfires are permitted, pets are welcome, and there is no fee. Talimena State Park Campground lies a few miles west for those who need developed facilities. Bring your own firewood to be safe, and plan for tent or hammock use only.
