From I-44 exit 45 turn west on hwy 49,get in left hand lane, less than 1/4 mile turn left (road is hard to see at nght).Go into Apache gate (note: gate closed on Sunday). Follow road about 2 1/2 miles, small campground on left immediately after golf course. Check in at bldg 2502 RECPLEX on Sheidan rd.

Quiet and convenient

This campground is on the base,  but so quiet. Within a few miles of the campground is amazing fishing and hiking. Fort Sill is a nice base with everything you may need. If you drive to Witchita Mountain Wildlife Refuge you may see elk, bison, Longhorns and deer. The hiking trails are great and worth the visit.
