Free and drive-in accessible, Witch's Peak sits outside Athens as a dispersed site with drinking water, toilets, picnic tables, and trash service on-site. The trail in is steep. Vehicles are limited to 10 feet, so larger rigs won't fit the access road. Pets are welcome, campfires are permitted, and cell service is available. The short hike leads to rock outcroppings, boulder routes, and a rock shelter at the trail's end, making this a reasonable option for hikers and scramblers who don't mind earning the elevation.
