Graner Park sits within the Oaha Recreation Area along the Missouri River, managed by the Army Corps of Engineers and open from April through September. The campground runs $10 to $20 per night and splits into two distinct loops with notably different characters. The north loop has electric hookups, a centrally placed playground accessible from every site, and the most sought-after spots: those with direct water frontage. Sites fill fast, especially on summer weekends.
The south loop is a different experience. Reviewers describe it as more of an open field with parking spots, and the ground cover includes burrs, so footwear is essential when leaving your site. Tree coverage is noted on the north loop, where riverside sites give access to the river for wading. The campground has a water fill station, picnic tables, fire rings, and restrooms on site, along with a dump station for RVs with electric hookups.
"Has electric and primitive both priced decent, has nice tree coverage and is next to the river," noted one camper. ADA-accessible facilities are available, and reservations can be made in advance, which is worth doing given how quickly sites go. Pets are allowed throughout. Nearby, Graner Bottom provides another option just to the south, and Kimball Bottom lies a couple miles northwest for those wanting to compare sites before committing. Campers who prefer a waterside electric site should reserve early and aim for the north loop.
