Not what it seems!

The photos make this place out to be quiet & secluded… its anything but that! A large Rock Quary is 1/8 mile away, and the 4 lane hwy16  intersection with hwy150 is about the same distance in another direction! Lots of car & truck noise from the highway and on-ramp! And the Rock Quary is ridiculously loud many mornings… and you sure don’t want to be camping here when they blast!

Quite, open, and relaxing.

Our 10 day stay here was very nice.

Nice open areas for plenty of enjoyment.

Owned and operated by a very nice family.

Play some volleyball, feed the goats and chickens or head over to the Norman Lake activities nearby.

Highly reccomended!

The Best Time Ever

These 9 days of camping for Sukkot were the best I've experienced in my short 74-year lifetime!  What a super joy to be with like-minded and like-hearted fellow believers!  The campfire sessions, the study times and all around great fellowship have been quite uplifting.

The grounds are perfect for tent camping with good grass and plenty of shade.  Much room is available for the children to romp and play with no obstacles to cause harm.  The RV  sites are adequate with both water and electrical hook-ups.

Filled with SHALOM

We spent the Feast of Sukkot at Whispering Hammock Acres from October 4-13 2022. It was simply great.

We used Outdoorsy and rented a RV. The RV owner dropped off the RV and the hosts showed him where to set up our camp. We drove up late that night and everything was set up with the host & the RV owners help. It was seamless.

The campground is really pretty surrounded with trees making you feel like you are faraway when you are actually really close to everything. Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Publix for food supplies only minutes away.

The hosts are so helpful and are creating a very special place to camp. We loved the covered areas scattered around the property where we could be alone and read or just sit and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings.

I have been taking 3 minute COLD showers for my health and they accommodated my needs to show me how to TURN the hot water completely OFF each time I showered.

They also helped me find a safe place to exercise my big dog a bit off property to let her run and play daily. Again, so helpful. Happy dog = happy owner.

The Verizon cell signal is CRAZY good. Heidi, one of the hosts is very open to suggestions or discovering ways to make your stay the best it can be.

Sitting by the fire pit at night looking up at the stars… ahh… gotta love it.

We already plan on coming back and have reserved a spot. We love this place and the people that run it. Yup! It deserves the 5 Stars! If it didn't, I would tell you. :)
