About

Welcome to the RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads, a fantastic spot near Roanoke Rapids, NC. This place is a gem for anyone looking to take a break from the road. It's open all year round, so you can count on it no matter when you're passing through.

One of the standout features here is the spacious and well-maintained sites. Whether you're in a tent, RV, or cabin, you'll find the spots level and equipped with concrete pads, water, sewer, and electrical hookups. The park is big rig friendly, but be mindful of some tight turns if you're hauling a larger rig.

The amenities are top-notch. There's a large pool and a hot tub, perfect for unwinding after a long drive. If you're traveling with kids, they'll love the playground and the mini-golf course, even if it’s a bit worn. For pet owners, there's a nice dog park where your furry friends can stretch their legs.

The staff here are known for being friendly and helpful. They keep the facilities clean, including the bathrooms and laundry area. Plus, you can fill up your propane tank on-site, which is super convenient.

While the campground is close to I-95, it's far enough away that you won't be bothered by road noise. Nearby, you'll find essentials like Walmart, gas stations, and chain restaurants. If you need outdoor gear or RV supplies, there's a Bass Pro Shops and a Camping World not too far away.

Overall, the RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads is a great place to rest and recharge. Whether you're just stopping overnight or planning a longer stay, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable visit.

Overnight

We stayed for one night. People were friendly. Park had a tight turning radius and we struggled turning down aisle D in our 42 ft 5th wheel. Despite it saying it was 60 ft, spot was still tight. You can’t park on grass so we moved to overflow parking. Bathrooms and rec area were clean.

Great park for overnight stay!

We just stayed one night as we were passing through the area, but we were very impressed with this campground!

The spots are spacious and well maintained. There’s a large pool and a hot tub, as well as a small mini golf course. The mini golf did look a little rundown, but our daughter still really enjoyed it.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and we were able to fill our propane tank while we were there.

If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay here!

Resting point!

We are new rv travelers and this is our third stop on our way down to Florida. This place is quiet and so easy to get to. The hot tub was awesome after a stressful drive. Laundry area is clean and works great! We came in off season so the pool was closed but still had activities to use (pool table, darts). No cable even though they have plugs but that’s not all that important to us. Would recommend and will more than likely come back!

Nice place with a few cons

Nice level pull through concrete site with paved road. Good hook ups, clean facilities, nice dog park and clean pool/hot tub. Close off 95, but far enough you don't hear it at all. We even got a gazebo site, which was awesome. They even allow you to wash your rig. Only negatives, are not much in the area to do, no cable or wifi and absolutely no antenna service. Shopping, Walmart, gas and chain restaurants close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Great campground for an overnight!

We have stayed at this resort several times. It is a couple of miles off of I-95 in Roanoke Rapids, NC, so it’s a good place to stop while traveling to get some rest and respite from the road.

The campground appears to be run by the owner and his family, and they are nice and helpful, but sometimes a bit disorganized. However, they always had our site reserved, they just didn’t have the reservation information. Not a big deal, things happen sometimes. One time they did help us out when we were running late, we called last minute and they were able to work out a site for us despite the campground being booked. All in all, great people!

The sites here are great! They are large and level with a concrete pad, water, sewer, and electrical hookups for both 30 and 50 amp. After a long day on the road it’s great to just be able to pull in and not have to work to get level. It is easy to navigate the park with nice wide turns and lots of space.

The campground has a small pool with a water slide and a hot tub, but they are strict about closing them at dusk. There is also a nice playground for the kids. I don’t know if there is a camp store or not, as I have only overnighted there.

The campground is right off of I-95, and is located near Bass Pro Shops and a large Camping World, so if you need a bite to eat, some outdoor gear, or repairs, they are available.

If this campground were closer to me I would be here often. It’s nice, clean, and conveniently located. Even though it’s close to I-95, it’s far enough away where you don’t hear the road noise and can actually get some rest.

Happy to have found this place

This is the perfect place to jump off 95 and spend a night. Easy in, flat sites and clean well lit bathhouse. And! We were able to take a site at 1am.

Ideal

Conveniently right off of I-95. Off enough so there isn’t any highway noise. Beautiful facilities. Including concrete slabs to park on. Don’t expect any shade, there are no trees. With exception of around the parameter. I would defiantly stop here again for an overnight.
