Pondside Single

About

RVs welcome at this single site beside our pond. An easy flat approach to camp site. My truck and trailer are 47', and I can easily back in. 35' Class A's have an easy time, too. Mountain views in the background. Birds and ducks, the occasional beaver or bear. Asheville is 20 minutes to the West and Black Mountain is 15 minutes to the East. They both offer a host of activities, extra nice local brews, yummy foods, and/or musing among the galleries, take a stroll in town, or a hike in the National Forests. Pondside Single is the perfect place to spend a quiet evening after a day exploring the surrounding area.

Beautiful pondside paradise

This property is a hidden gem! Karen came down and said Hi and met with us but other than that she left us on our own. Beautiful level lot that was easy to find and get into and exactly as described. We absolutely loved that it was quite and close to the Soul of the South music festival which was why we were in the area. Remember at this spot that you need full fresh water tanks, empty black and gray water tanks, and best to bring a portable black and gray tank if you are staying more than a few nights. A tip: the nearby KOA will let you dump for a fee or the Camping World in Hendersonville charges $15 or free for Good Sam members!

Great spot for visiting Black Mountain area

We spent a night at Pondside Single while visiting the Black Mountain area. Perfect location – close enough to town to be convenient yet it felt very private. Easy to maneuver and level spot, along with great views and new electric hook up. Karen made it easy. We were not sure when we saw it on The Dyrt with no reviews but quickly saw it on another site with 50+ reviews. Great experience and would visit again.
