we have stayed here a number of times mountain and creek sites. it’s very secluded, gorgeous views, stocked trout stream and a friendly owner who is knowledgeable about the area. 4x4 required for mountain sites.

I made the slightly out of the way trip to stay here based on the previous reviews and could not be happier I did. My GSP was able to be off-leash as the site is quite large and she was able to roam freely which was a huge plus. View was spectacular! Andrew was great, highly responsive and you must heed his warning for the upper sites, a 4x4 is an absolute must. Also note there was zero Verizon service if you were to need it during your stay. I will definitely be back.

Once in Robbinsville, NC and on NC Hwy 143 (Cherohala Skyway) follow the signage with directional arrows at each turn. Your maps app will work but keep your maps app running so you don’t lose signal.
