Fully equipped, applianced, furnished, and ready for your next escape. Lovely Setting for an intimate trip away with you loved one, perhaps a small gathering of family & friends, or to start writing your next novel in seclusion. Services & supplies are only 10 minutes away. We are accept bookings year round. Find us easily on Airbnb, HipCamp, and VRBO. We are open to small events, gatherings, and weddings with event insurance and a fee. Linens, Pillows, Blankets, & Towel Service is always included in your stay.

TOWER: The bespoke Tower boasts 360 degree views of the surroundings. A large table & outdoor chairs on the 2nd Level platform is an ideal space for gathering or picnicking. The 3rd enclosed level is furnished with a built in brand queen bed, a huge built in long couch and sleeping pads & twin air mattresses are available for additional sleeping arrangements. Table and 4 chairs for dining, and second level has a table and chairs for 6. Fridge for drinks.

CABIN: The Cabin has a full bathroom & modern kitchen with an high ceiling open living space. Tastefully decorated and furnished, the Cabin is fully equipped for your comfort and convenience. A front porch with rocking chairs & a back porch with Adirondack chairs near a fire pit await you. Ample windows without curtains to enjoy the views as there are no immediate neighbors. Sleep Options are as follows: Queen bed in the loft, Daybed in Living Room with 2 Twins and a cot and or blow-up twin beds are available. Heated & Fully Applianced. High Speed Wifi Free and Available.

ENVIRONS: The 40 Acres are Pastured and Open at the Cabin and Tower and Wooded all around in every direction. There are no cut trails at the Retreat and as it is thickly wooded, we encourage our guests to come visit us at Slateville Farm where we have over 8 miles of our own trails, swimming holes, & our ever flowing cold spring. Enjoy any of the many national park trails within the Green Mountains or Adirondacks. Lake George, Schroon Lake, Lake St. Catherine & Bomoseen are all nearby as well as the Battenkill River for fishing. If you are a winter visitor, plenty of ski resorts are a little over an hour away like Stratton, Bromely, Okemo, or Killington to name a few. During the winter we offer our trails within the 350 acre farm for Cross Country Skiing, Snow Shoeing, & Hiking. Inquire for ATVs and Snow Mobiles.

Other things to note

There are often sightings of wild turkey, deer, porcupine, hawks and eagles, racoon and fox. Always dispose of trash in dedicated bins inside of the Tower or Cabin as leaving food scraps or trash outside may encourage unwanted animals to visit.

For Winter Bookings: if there is significant snowfall you must have a high clearance 4x4 vehicle to safely get up and down. I will work with you to rebook should a snow storm occur and you wish to reschedule penalty free.

Absolutely NO Smoking Anywhere or Anytime in, Around, Close to, or Near the Cabin or Tower. Use a Dedicated Wind Proof or Contained Ashtray and Dispose of Safely.
