Another beautiful State Park

Keuka Lake is small, boat launch, small beach playground at beach and camp ground. Hiking, biking. Not far from Penn Yan, nice city, winery's are all over. TV reception there is none, cell phone not great either. Lake is clean and clear, great for fishing, boating, and swimming. Park is clean and well maintained.

Fantastic Lake / Camping

Stayed at Keuka Lake in July 2023. Nice spots, close to others but people were quiet and respectful after 10 PM. Lake was beautiful and fun for swimming with the kids. Nice bathroom facilities a short walk away and not too close by.

Just Amazing

The sites are all super spacious and private.    The lake and picnic areas area just amazing.  The only downside I could mention is if you area looking for Full hook up you area out of luck.   Only the inner sites had shared water connections out on the loop roads and no sewer connections you has to hit the dump station on the driveway coming in.   If you are prepared for this ahead of time it is not an issue at all.   We stayed for a week and honestly didn't want to leave.

Great campground at great location

We have gone to this campground for the past 5 years. We have always had a great experience and the camp has always been clean and bathrooms also have always been clean. Only down side is that there are not full hookups. But we really don’t mind that at all. The campground is perfect location near Keuka lake in Wine Country, also close by to branchport, Penn Yan, and also Watkins Glen! Will continue to go to this campground!

Wonderful Finger Lakes Camping

Large grassy sites with privacy between the sites. Most sites have a good level gravel pad to park on.

We stayed in the non-electric loop with a small travel trailer, but there are electric sites available. Spigots for water are spaced well enough that with a few lengths you can fill up.

The hike to the beach wasn't too bad through the woods, with ones being a grassy walking path and the other being a dirt trail through the woods. The beach is typically crowded.

This is a place I would always recommend.

Well maintained, manicured campground

Large open grassy campsites that are obviously maintained and manicured. Friendly guy Pat at the gate helped me and and chatted with me for a while bout photography and the area. 3 loops, 150 sites, clean bathrooms and showers, boat ramp, beach/picnic area, a few short trails

Large sites, clean facilities, great location, beautiful lake

Keuka Lake State Park is located in the Finger Lakes region, on the east side of the west branch of beautiful Keuka Lake. Three camping loops are located on the hill above the lake. The sites are large and many have electric. Mature trees surround campsites and separate the loops from each other. The bathroom/shower facility in our loop was modern and kept very clean. The roads leading to the sites, and the within the loops, are paved, and the sites are quite level.

There are several trails leading from the campground down to the boat launch, pavilions, large playground and beach area. We did find the trails could be marked a bit better but the walk through the woods and along gullies was beautiful. Along one trail you will find the Beddoe-Rose family cemetery containing the graves of fourteen members of two of the area's earliest setters and best known families. This cemetery is listed on the National Park Service's National Register of Historic Places. Unfortunately, some visitors have been very disrespectful and damaged the stones.

Having walked down to the beach area and then back up twice, I can tell you it's pretty much uphill all the way to the campground but for those who would rather not make the walk, the road leads there directly from the campground :)

The lakefront area of the park is just beautiful! There is plenty of shade, picnic tables and grills for those who choose to be out of the sun, along with tables, grills and a gazebo below in the sunny beach area.

As far as things to do in the surrounding area, there are lots! It is an easy drive around Keuka Lake which is surrounded by award winning wineries, breweries and distilleries. The Village of Penn Yan at the north end has several quaint shops, restaurants, two grocery stores, a movie theater, a department store, pharmacies and more. Hammondsport, at the south end, tied for the #1 Coolest Small Town in America in 2012. Be sure to visit the Glenn H. Curtiss Aviation Museum and the Finger Lakes Boating Museum while in town.

Perfect place to drop your boat in and play in the water. The lake offers many options for any type of boat. The campground has 3 loops and 2 have electric sites. Penn Yan and Branchport are close enough to grab anything you forgot or even an ice cream. If you want to hike a hill you’ve got that too!

Beautiful, clean, can't wait to go back!

We visited in June 2018 and had a wonderful time! The campground is clean, the bathrooms are clean, and playgrounds are awesome. They have one large playground by the camping area and another large one by the lake. This place is dog friendly and has dog cleanup stations throughout the campground with both poop bags and trash cans and they empty the bins regularly. They sell firewood bundles when you first drive in for $5 each which was very convenient as well as ice although I don't know how much the ice was. We ended up wanting to buy another bundle after the office closed and the evening park ranger opened it back up so we could purchase another. It was so peaceful and we enjoyed our trip. We definitely plan on going back. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire pit with a metal grate to cook on.

Park is right on the shore of Keuka Lake and has lake access in the park.

It is family friendly and part of the NY State Campgrounds so if you have an annual pass you will save money. The sites are well maintained. Bathrooms & showers are clean. A dumping station right near the entry/exit.There is a large park area with beach for swimming, fishing, plenty of room for launching your kayak, dock and launch for your boat or using one of their grills & picnic areas. All around the campsites there are water spikots too so if you're tent camping then you are not walking far for fresh water. There is a nice pavillion as well with water fountains for drinking in case you went for a swim & didn't bring a drink with you. There are paths for hiking as well. A real shining star of the Finger Lakes region. There are many attractions nearby as well if you like to sight see. An enormous amount of wineries along the west and east side of the lake as well as the bluff. Be sure to stop in to one of the micro breweries in the area as well. Lakeside Restaurant on the west side of Keuka is our favorite. Fresh quality chef designed meals and desserts.

New York Little Finger Lakes campground

Typical Finger Lakes beauty with water activities. State park so basic accommodations and well cared for. Lots of sites are very private, all are wooded. Bath house and fire pits were pretty nice. Great for day use too.

Beautiful

Large, woody sites. Stay on the outside perimeter of the loops or you might have foot traffic thru your site to shower/toilet houses & water taps. Camp sites are NOT on the lake but a short drive will get you there. Kayaking is so so but wineries are fun. Gorgeous state park, classic example of our tax dollars at work in a very good way.
