Evergreen Trails Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Deeply wooded sites, a creek running alongside tent spots, and a small footbridge marking the entrance to the most secluded areas: Evergreen Trails Campground in Angelica, New York delivers a genuinely forested experience within a full-service campground. The season runs May 1 through October 31, and the campground accommodates RVs up to 40 feet with electric, water, and sewer hookups. Reservations are available, and pets are welcome.

Site character varies considerably depending on where you land. The hookup sites sit in a more open area, while the wooded sites deeper in the property have water and electric connections and considerably more tree cover. Tent campers who cross the footbridge to the primitive spots report very little grass underfoot due to the dense canopy overhead. One reviewer notes that neighboring cabins can generate noise, so campers who prioritize quiet should ask about site placement when booking. Justin M. sums up the maintenance standard simply: "Everything is extremely clean."

The shower facilities are clean but charge a fee. Tent sites near the creek may be served by a portable toilet rather than the main bathhouse, so it's worth confirming facilities when choosing a site. Campers who want full hookups and a short drive to other options in the region can explore campsites near Belfast or consider nearby campgrounds such as McCarthy Golf & Campground and Jones Pond Campground to the northeast. Those drawn to the wooded sites and the sound of the creek tend to come back year after year.

Many campers appreciated the peaceful, secluded deep woods setting with clean facilities. Several guests observed that wooded sites offer more privacy while full hookup sites are more open. Some noted paid showers as a drawback.

Beautiful Place

I wish I had know the more wooded sites were water and electric.

I had full hookup so it was kinda open for my liking. Enjoyed it tho!

Deep woods

If you are looking for a deep woods experience... this is it! We only stayed one night. The scenery was absolute beautiful but we were given the last open tent spot available. Because of this, we were not as prepared as we would have liked. We were in a primitive spot and we usually don’t do that. This site was beautiful. You crossed a small foot bridge to get to it. There was very little grass because it was deeply wooded. The cabins next to us were very loud so that was distracting. The cabins looked very nice though.

The shower house was clean and nice but did cost money, which I think is not appropriate. The creek that ran by our tent site had a beautiful sound but we were also distracted by the out house. We were not near the bathhouse so there was a port-a-potty there. It was clean but still a port-a-potty. The sites are very secluded though and if you want some peace get one of the sites in the woods and have some time to yourself!
