Brookwood RV Resort sits on the outskirts of Ticonderoga, a short drive from both Fort Ticonderoga and Lake George, making it a functional base for exploring the historic Adirondack corridor. The terrain is forested, and sites are generally level and close together, with tree cover providing shade across much of the property. Short-term sites are positioned near the road, which generates some traffic noise, and sites S1 through S4 behind the office sit closer to the dumpsters and workshop, so those are worth avoiding if possible.
Full hookups include 50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections, and the resort accommodates RVs up to 60 feet. Seasonal and short-term campers occupy largely separate areas of the property. The bathhouse, pool, laundry, and a playground round out the on-site facilities, and a camp store carries supplies. Cell service runs weak in this area, and the WiFi has been described as spotty, so connectivity-dependent campers should plan accordingly.
John describes the sites as "really wooded, quiet, level, and spread out," which aligns with the forested setting reviewers consistently mention. Rogers Rock State Park is close by and provides beach access and a boat launch on Lake George. Campers who prefer a state-managed setting with more water access might consider Rogers Rock Campground as an alternative. Rates run $39 to $49 per night, and the season runs May 15 through October 15.
