Sitting at elevation in Lincoln National Forest, Silver Overflow Campground runs from early April through early October, giving drive-in campers a seasonal window in the mountains above Cloudcroft. Sites include electric hookups, drinking water, showers, toilets, and a dump station, making it a practical choice for RVs up to 30 feet. Picnic tables and campfire rings round out the setup. Pets are welcome. Campers with dogs or other animals can also look at pet-friendly campgrounds around Lincoln National Forest for additional sites in the region.
Description
The Silver Overflow Campground has space for 52 trailers and is perfect for RV groups as the distribution of camping is centralized, not in individual camping spurs. Rangers, musicians and many other presenters do Saturday night presentations at the adjacent Silver Amphitheater during summer months. Tables, fire rings, parking spurs, gray water sumps, toilets, showers, central garbage depository, plus interpretive trails. RVs - no length limit. (Sacramento District Camping Brochure)
