Coronado Campground

Good bang for your buck. I didn’t have any reservations and there were several sites of all kinds. Nothing amazing with the view but plenty of runaround room for my dog to adventure down to the Rio Grande. If you go to the river be prepared to track through a lot of mud before you get to water.

I love the pueblos that are at every campsite. Was super easy to check in and out.

Partial hookups at the numbered sites with water and 20/30amp electric, dump station available. Pricing reasonable, $10 to $15 to $18 for tent or RV with no hookups. $30-$35 for RV water/electric hookups. Bathrooms are not great but definitely seen and smelt worse. RV sites are kinda southwestern unique with covered area and table. All other amenities nearby laundry, Albertson’s grocery, Walmart, Tractor Supply, Discount Tire.

Not a large campground, but sites have water, electric, and tables inside shelters. Bathrooms and showers available.

Great experience, quiet space even with full campgrounds

This RV park is popular and can be filled. So try to get a reservation before you arrive. I managed to get a spot because somebody had canceled. Campsites have power and some have water. I paid $35 a night. But they do have an overflow area which is just a big parking lot but will serve in a pinch if there are no regular spaces available.

Remarkable nice little campground, with well laid-out sites, each with its own adobe picnic shelter as well as power and water. There’s a dump station at the exit. The location is very convenient, though there’s a bit of highway noise.

Nice spot All RV sites have water and 30 smp electric. Shower in restroom, clean but only luke warm. Covered picnic tables, pull through sites. Tent area also has covered tables. It's the cheapest place around at $35 per night. No sewer, but there is a dump station.

Very convenient location for traveling through Albuquerque. Beautiful views, good pricing, everything you need around you. On the water and has kayak/paddle launch. Brewery infront you can walk to

Great place to camp if visiting Rio Rancho, Bernalillo and the surrounding area. Super nice camp sites, more than enough room for our 39’ trailer and inexpensive. You are next to the Rio Grande and in walking distance of the Pueblo Kuaua which is cool

This campground is a beast little spot. We were in a water/electric site. No dull hook. Up sites. They are sloped a bit, and the water was on the opposite side of our camper, but we made it work. The spots are large and have a shaded cover in every site. We would stay here again!!

Over night stay on our way home to Colorado from Arizona. Fairly quiet also.

Easy access pull thru sites each with a picnic table and fire pit. Table is in a covered shelter. Bathrooms were stinky and basic. The guy at the reception was very friendly. The RV park was quiet and the grounds were nice. $35 per night for 30A electric & water 42' pull thru site

Excellent location and views, just need some long term resident clean up or eviction at entrance. We stayed for one night. Great set up and next to a brewery/restaurant in wish we would have visited. Clean bathrooms and nice sites.

20 min to Albuquerque

All have to say is WOW! We had an amazing view of the Sandia Mountains from our site. This was an overflow area of the park so it had no hookups but the park does have full hookups. However, the primitive sites and overflow area, IMHO, are the best and have the best views.

Amazing view of mountains and Rio Grande. On the same road as Coronado Historical Site, which is an amazing Adobe settlement circa 1300 AD. Clean bathrooms, beautiful camping area in general.

We have enjoyed our stay here we’ve had no problems and it would be perfect if not for not having a full hookup it is an electric and water only. But there is a dumping station The bathrooms were clean and working properly.the shower was clean and working properly

Old style city campground. Quaint adobe cabanas with picnic tables inside. Great location just off I25 corridor and less than 50 yard walk to a nice new brewery. There are a couple of long term residents, one of whom has completely packed the cabana with "stuff". Old restrooms, but adequate. Water and electric sites if you wish to pay for it. Dump station on site. Great view of Sandia peak and camp is situated right on the River. It even had water in it when we were there.

We did a one night stand here in January. Very nice campground. Fairly quiet but remember it is in the urban area and not some rural space. But it is close to everything.

Check in was easy and the host helpful. The sites are clean and spacious with a very nice shelter and table.

The sites have power and water and they do have a dump station. We would stay here again.

Did I mention there is a brewery you can walk to?

Not exciting but right on the Rio Grande. Quite and friendly.

Very nice RV/Tent park. Operated by the town of Bernalillo, New Mexico. Prices range from $10.00 per night for tents and $20.00, $30.00, $35.00 per night for Rvs. Great view of the Rio Grande and Sandia Mountains. Just 15 minutes from Albuquerque. All RV sites have electric but most have electric(30 amp) and water. None have sewer hookup but there is a dump station on the property. We stay here every time we come to New Mexico. Highly recommend this campground!

Coronado Campground in Bernalillo has a great location. Easily accessed from I25 but not so close as to be bothered by freeway noise. Right on the Rio Grande. Next door to Bosque Brewery, so good food and brews are at hand. Adobe shelters over the picnic tables at each site keep you from getting too hot in the high desert.

This quaint campground is full of charm. We got in just before the Governor changed the rules so visitors must quarantine for 14 days so they were closing the campground to out of state campers. The sites are mostly level and each site has a covered picnic table and an artificial grass mat. The site we had, had a view of the Rio Grand (not so grand anymore) and is convenient to I 25 so getting around was easy. The bathrooms are clean but need some minor repairs, they also are not air conditioned so pick your shower/bathroom times carefully or it will feel like a sauna. I think we got a special rate because of the pandemic. Water is on one side of the pad, electricity on the other but it was not a problem when we positioned our camper. Overall a great experience

So, I love the covered seating areas here, and the bathrooms were clean and warm! The gentleman at the front desk was pleasant. A short walk to the Rio Grande and beautiful views of the Sandia Mountains.

its actually called Coronado, not Corondado. So don’t type that into your gps My boyfriend and I took a 13 state journey this summer over the course of 3 weeks and this was one of my favorite campsites we stayed at. 👍🏻🏕 If you stay there I highly recommend camping in site r7 or the sites that have the little huts. The view of the Sandia mountains was absolutely incredible. There’s also a tram that will take you up the Sandia mountains that’s the longest tram in North America, 2nd longest in the world. It was beautiful. You can hike up the trails to a cabin built in the 1930s that is simply worth the hike up in the thin mountain air. 10/10 would highly recommend this site!
