Description
The Sacramento Mountains dispersed area sits along a mountain road west of High Rolls at roughly 7,600 feet in Lincoln National Forest, offering sweeping views toward White Sands and dramatic sunsets over the basin below. The access road is bumpy and can be slick when wet, so high-clearance is an advantage — rigs up to around 28 feet have made it work, though the individual pullouts are limited in size and leveling takes some patience. Wind and cold are real factors at this elevation year-round, and traffic picks up during daylight hours, but nights tend to be quiet.
