Gold Gulch Road sits inside Gila National Forest southwest of Silver City, accessed via a dirt road that pulls back from the main road into an open camping area on the left. The site is big rig friendly and has hosted at least one Airstream, so rigs with trailers can manage the approach. A low shrub barrier provides some separation from the road. Cattle graze nearby, and sunsets over the open grassland can be vivid. Cell service is listed as available, and campers who have arrived after dark report the route stays clear and setup is straightforward. Pets are welcome.
