Very nice place to stay

I picked a spot way up at the top - it was very well maintained and clean. I didn’t use the laundry or showers. We used to to access white sands, Carlsbad and Roswell. Ruidoso is an amazing city that we fell in love with. Great places to eat - cafe rio, hall of flame, and Anaheim jacks being three of them. Donna, the manager of the park is very sweet and accommodating. Joe, who does maintenance and shows you to your place is a great guy and makes sure you are settled. The only reason I took off is for the construction noise being at the edge of the park - they are developing something along the back and they worked all week long starting at 6a. It should be done by the time you get there. Maybe call Donna and she will get you a good place - I used Campspot for the booking.

Quiet, great location, well kept

We received a call about 10 minutes prior to our arrival to ensure we knew where they are located. Upon arrival we were greeted and escorted to our site and advised on hookups. The site we had was#32 and was a gravel pull-thru and almost level. The bathrooms and showers were close by and very clean. Water pressure was great and 30amp is what we need. The Wi-Fi was so good I didn’t bother to connect my range extender. When I hooked up to Cable, I had no connection. They came over right away to check it out and helped me determine it was an issue inside my trailer. They were quite helpful. Since it is after Labor Day the campground was not busy, and they did a great job of keeping us spread out. It was very quiet and relaxing.

A great park, not far from midtown

Now called "Slow Play RV Park", under new ownership. Lots of spaces, with 30 & 50 amp hook up. Very nice property, with good paved roads throughout. Bathrooms and showers were impressively clean. There is a laundry room, and a game room with a few arcade games. Peaceful evenings, with enforced quite times. The front office has a store, with can drinks, toiletries, shirts, caps, a few over the counter medicines, and some misc RV things like hoses and dig bones. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They drove around the park just checking on everything. I will definitely be returning!
