Nice location

We spent 2 nights here. Check in is at 2. First come first serve. Large sites, mostly shaded. Vault toilet was clean. Drinking water available. We stayed at site 14. Only a mile from town.

Beautiful and Quiet

Wonderful job on the maintenance of the campgrounds. Beautiful scenery with privacy between campsites. You can hear the river running all day, it’s so relaxing. Close to town so you can grill at your campsite or be in town for a dinner.

Great access to the Red River

All sites sit have excellent access to the Red River. The vault bathrooms were adequate. Each site I saw had multiple tent options. Even if your pad does not have shade, each site has ample shade to the back of the site along the Creek. It is a bit exposed to the highway and road noise. The noise is not horrible but certainly noticeable.

Close to town but far enough away!

Very nice campground. The river was very high and actually flooded close to a couple campsites but there were enough that we were away from it. For $18 dollars it was very nice, there were vault toilets that were well maintained. There was drinking water available on site. Overall it was really nice and we could go to sleep listening to the river.

Trailhead at site

It's $18/ night. The host was vary kind. I camped on a high spot, located right by a trailhead that leads up the mountain. Saw mountain lion prints, chipmunks, Stellar's Jays, and other cool wildlife!

Riverside Heaven

I was lucky to find that some people in a teardrop were leaving Site #12 mid-morning on a Tuesday. The site was right on the Red River! It didn't take much to level my teardrop and set up my canopy. The table was in good shape and the site was mostly flat except for the edge down to the river. There were trees perfect from which to hang my hammock, too! I had morning and evening shade and the next sites were pretty far away. The bathroom (pit toilet - very clean) was just a short walk away.

Nice site, close to Red River

This was a great site to stay at near Red River. Large enough for popups, some larger campers, but big RVs would have a hard time getting in/out. Its not a very large site. It was a nice place to camp and head into town for day fun. The area is beautiful with a lot to do nearby. I think it was $10-15 / day. The camp host was extremely nice. I would go back again.
