Meet the Aliens

This place is in the middle of the desert and it is not really pretty. And yet, it is worth a visit. This is all about Area 51 and the stories around it (we met a guy that claimed he would communicate with aliens there). If you’re into it, enjoy! The guys at the restaurant are really nice. Only downside: you can only use the bathroom during opening hours. One night should be enough.

1 night stay

Arrived late afternoon and the cafe was closed which was understandable. We were looking to stay the night and a kind gentleman said we could do some dispersed camping opposite the cafe for free! Their hookups weren’t on because the tills were off but we were just happy to be in the area. Would go back! Lovely flat space and great scenery

Cool little place off 375

110 miles from Tonopah, there is this little place with 30amp and water. Food is great and right outside Area 51. Seriously worth a detour such a amazing place.

Good Spot if You Need One!

We needed a stop between Winnemucca and Las Vegas, and this appears to be the only RV spot along the Extraterrestrial Highway. The spots are few for hookups. The gift shop was nice for touristy stuff, and the bar/cafe served good drinks. Friendly staff. We didn’t try the food because we left too early the next morning, but the menu looks like it had a few great choices for breakfast. The town has 37 people (or something like that), so it definitely feels deserted. The alien tourist items were fun for the kids! Not a lot of entertainment beyond the statues.
