Description
At the head of Hardy Canyon in Nevada's BLM Caliente country, this ridgeline site sits at roughly 6,000 feet with sweeping panoramic views of Ella Mountain, Chief Mountain, Highland Peak, and the valleys of the Delamar Mountains. The approach winds through a wash before climbing an unmaintained jeep trail to the ridge — high clearance and 4WD are required, and the canyon offers easier pullouts for those who don't make it to the top. An established fire ring and some natural wind shelter make this a genuinely remote overnight destination, with dark skies well suited to stargazing.
