TravelerThe owner was very nice but we weren’t aware of the lack of any sort of bathroom. The lack of shower wasn’t a problem but make sure you have an RV with a bathroom. Tent camping is not recommended here. The campsites were clean and spacious. Mosquitos did come out after dark but it’s by water so we didn’t expect there to not be any bugs.

TravelerWe stopped at this campground for 1 night as we traveled thru. The park was immaculately mowed and the sites were spacious and we'll maintained. It looked like a perfect place to have a picnic as well. Plenty of parking. The lake is narrow and long, so plenty of space to boat. I didn't see a designated swimming areas, so can't say if they're was one or not. I would definitely stay here again.

ScoutMy parents stayed in one of the tiny homes during their visit, and it exceeded every expectation. It was super quiet, serene, and so charming. They had the best time, and I couldn't be happier with how relaxing their stay was!
GuideThere were more people than I expected there on a Monday evening, but we were able to find a spot with 30A to set up. We didn’t even need blocks, as it was perfectly level. Just pulled into the grass next to the electric and had no issues. Great for a quick overnight, especially for just $10.
GuideCalled MO Conservation Dept and verified it was ok to camp here. Woman told me eventually they plan on permitting, but as long as there aren’t >10 people, it’s fine. Arrived around 5 and drove past first few sites to minimize backing in. Big open graveled area where pit toilet is has a spot that is level and easy to maneuver with a 13’ trailer (or even much bigger). Clean site though bordering vegetation looks like poison oak. Can hear road noise but also birdsong. Two cars have passed by but no one else visible setting up camp at this point. Great for an overnight so far!
