Creekside RV Park

Creekside RV Park sits just off I-80 in Chappell, Nebraska, making it a practical overnight stop for travelers moving along the interstate corridor. Drive-in access is straightforward, and the park accommodates rigs up to 50 feet, including converted buses, according to recent visitors. Full hookups with electric, water, and sewer are available, along with showers, WiFi, and a dump station. No advance reservations are needed, and reviewers note that open spots are generally available.

Cleanliness comes up repeatedly across reviews. Michael P. calls out "super clean bathrooms and showers," and the owners draw consistent mention for being welcoming and attentive. The park is cash only, so arriving with bills on hand saves a trip.

A few local amenities are within walking distance, including bars, grills, and a bowling alley, which gives the stop some utility beyond simply parking for the night. Tent camping is not permitted at the RV park itself. Tent campers do have a nearby option: Pony Express Park Chappell, a free city park across the creek, allows both RV and tent camping. Travelers heading southeast along I-80 who want more choices can also look into campgrounds near Julesburg across the Colorado state line.

Clean and easy access

Mostly flat, pull through spots with full hookups for $30 (cash preferred). Super friendly host. Extremely clean bathrooms and showers. A perfect spot for an overnight just off the interstate and walking distance to downtown. No frills but just what we needed.

Nice Little Town

Nice spot to stay for a night or two. Within walking distance of a couple of bars and grills and a bowling alley, so make sure to check them out. Cash only and no advance reservations, but plenty of spots were left when we were there.

No tents

We pulled in and asked the man in the golf car for a spot. He informed us “No Tents” He failed to mention we could tent camp in the city park across the creek. Thanks Buddy! In the Pony Express Park across the bridge you can camp in a RV or Tent for free.Just leave it cleaner than you found it.
