No camping

Just gravel lot for the trailhead, no camping signs posted.

Peaceful

We found a nice spot close to the challenge cabin up in Summit that was close to the creek. I the area was big enough for multiple people to camp in. It didn't get much traffic which was perfect for us since we were looking for a peaceful spot to park. It had good hiking near by which our dog loved. Just watch out for the mosquitos they get really bad in the evening hours so bring bug spray for you and any pets.

Ok for a desperate night

Right off highway 2, this campsite is a dirt lot with a pit toilet next to the road and train tracks. Minimal shade, no service.

The pro is that it’s probably only 20-30 minutes from the east entrance to Glacier and it’s not far before entering Blackfeet Reservation, which non tribe members cannot camp on.

But I would not spend time at this site.
