Description
Open hilltop terrain inside Lewis & Clark National Forest near the Two Medicine corridor — just a few miles from the eastern edge of Glacier National Park — sits at roughly 5,300 feet with panoramic views that stretch across the surrounding mountain country. A handful of spots spread across the exposed summit and a sheltered pull-off tucked into the trees below offer options for those wanting cover from the persistent winds that define this ridge. The access road is rough and rocky from the start, manageable for most high-clearance vehicles and even some determined lower-clearance rigs, though steep grades and washouts make 4WD advisable for trailers and larger vehicles. Grizzly and black bears are active in the area — proper food storage is essential.
