Wedding stay

The camp grounds were nice and clean. As we’re all facilities. Hosts were friendly. A little noisy because it it right on the main road.

Great campground with awesome new owners

I was nervous pulling in since we're glampers, but was so pleasantly surprised. The new owners are the most hospitable, friendly and helpful people we've met. The ample renovations are clearly visible. What a great clean campground near the Beartooth Hwy, Chief Joseph hwy and beautiful Red Lodge. Within hour of Billings or Cody. About an hour and half to northern Yellowstone also. The hook ups are awesome, heated pool, immaculate facilities, and awesome trail off the CG. The only drawback was spotty WiFi and limited channels using antenna. Sites were level, patio sites are beautiful and cabins are new or completely refurbished. We loved our time here and highly recommend a stay here. Don't miss the awesome local businesses. The stores and views are breathtaking

Pleasantness Personified

Bright, friendly, family-style situation 10 minutes north of Red Lodge. Responsive and friendly hosts make navigating the COVID pandemic easier. The north tentsite side has the benefit of river ambience, while the south side has the kid playground amenities. They were renovating the pool as of early June but looked to be making good progress. Easy to find, glorious hikes around Red Lodge, which boasts the Beartooth Mountains, home of ski runs going 9-10 months of the year (including now) and one of the nation’s highest passes. I never give 5 stars unless there is spectacular scenery in or right around a campsite, and I didn’t see them enforcing quiet hour (although it wasn’t a big deal). A good value, all things considered.

Good location for a KOA

Is a good spot to set up if you're looking to explore Red Lodge or the Beartooth Mountains. Nothing fancy but has more amenities than most tent sites

Nice

We used it as a base for Yellowstone. Beartooth hwy was undescribable! Amazing views. Close to Red lodge. It's not perfect by no means but felt safe. Word of advice though, don't try and do everything in Yellowstone from one Basecamp. Spend more time traveling than anything else. I knew Yellowstone was big but damn!

Great campground if it was properly maintained.

This campground is great location and has a lot of amenities. The only problem was the WiFi was limited to close proximity to the office and the showers and bathrooms needed to be cleaned. The facIlItIes were never cleaned the two days we stayed there.

Very beautiful

This campground is beautiful! Mountains all around! Great place to stay to take in the beartooth Highway, most beautiful drive in the country I’ve seen! The amenities are good here and staff friendly and helpful.
