We used it as a base for Yellowstone. Beartooth hwy was undescribable! Amazing views. Close to Red lodge. It's not perfect by no means but felt safe. Word of advice though, don't try and do everything in Yellowstone from one Basecamp. Spend more time traveling than anything else. I knew Yellowstone was big but damn!

Fills up fast on rv side but great views. 1st come 1 serve. Lots of sites on the water and plenty of tent sites. Decent fishing, lots of bluegill and some crappie.

Good place to camp. Year round access. Close to Pella and Knoxville

Good place close to Pella and Knoxville. Some sites on Red Rock. Little pricey for not having full hookups. Overall good place.

Clean showers and nice level spots for RV's at least in the back side of park. Full hookups. Can get a little cramped tho when everyone comes in.
