Not many spots but nice area

Pretty easy to pull up to, lake nearby and trailhead. Vault toilet, boat ramp. Only a few spots, maybe 4. A train does pass nearby.

Love This Place

This little campground was super easy to get to. The sites easy to access and the toilet is vey close and clean. There is a train track in the background but the trains are very short. They don’t bother me because I love trains. There is a boat ramp and trail head within walking distance. There is a little bit of traffic and that’s just the boaters. There is a lot of wildlife (eagles, moose mountain lion, beaver, chipmunk). Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. You can stay up to 16 days here. There is a beautiful campsite for backpackers/bicyclists. I believe there are 5 sites for campers with vehicles and you park directly next to your site. There are a lot of mosquitoes at dusk and dawn this time of year.

Quite spot with nice trails

Maybe 20 minutes from whitefish, this area offers only a handful of rustic sites as well boat launch parking. First come first serve. Lovely trails nearby with lake access. My dogs and I enjoyed our stay. Highly suggested.

Constant Wonder

This lake is never a disappointment! Easy access roads, nice boat launch, and solid camping sites. If your looking for a nice days paddle or a weekend away Stillwater Lake, Stillwater River and the surrounding smaller lakes, Hole in the Wall and Finger Lake; have you covered. (The cliff jumping at Finger Lake is our favorite and just a short hike away)

Under perfect weather conditions you have a glassy surface that your boat will glide right through. In not so perfect conditions? There are banks galore in which you can hunker down and enjoy a beverage and snacks and wait for the rain to pass. No matter the season this lake is a constant joy!
