The boat ramp provides launching access for kayaks and small watercraft, while nearby trails connect to additional lakes including Hole in the Wall and Finger Lake. Wildlife sightings include eagles, moose, beavers, and chipmunks.
Sites operate on a first-come, first-serve basis with a 16-day stay limit. Mosquitoes are active during dawn and dusk hours, particularly in early summer. "This lake is never a disappointment," notes Denyel B., highlighting the consistent water access and surrounding recreational opportunities. The area serves as a base for exploring campgrounds near Flathead National Forest or accessing nearby dispersed options like Stillwater State Forest Dispersed off Hwy 93.
