Nice campground, don’t use their bathrooms

Needed a quick inexpensive place to stop on the way thru. There weren’t many other campers when I arrived with lots of sunny or shady spots to choose. Very quiet except they decided to start weed wacking at 7:30am. $10 for primitive, $16 for electric. There was no map so I only found one primitive site that was super exposed and next to the bathroom. The bathrooms… oh my lanta, that smell will haunt me for the rest of my days. And it’s both bathrooms, like there are dead rotting things amongst the rest down there. I gagged the entire time, and this is coming from someone who collects dead rotting animals as a hobby. I recommend this spot but not if you have to rely on their bathroom facilities like I did. There’s a disc golf course with trails connecting to the grounds too, so that’s always a plus. And boat access not far down the road but the vehicle access to it was flooded, with a sign noting that high water was common and impassable.

Scenic, peaceful, not far off the highway

This spot was amazing. I would camp here again anytime. There were only maybe 4-5 first come first serve sites, a couple with creek access. But the area was amazing and super peaceful. No hookups and no room for big stuff. Excellent boondocking not far from Missoula.

Nice but I couldn’t leave fast enough

I only stayed at the campground for the trails nearby. But the night I stayed it was loud and there’s very little privacy. The trails that I’d come for were very scenic but also packed by 8:30 AM. I should’ve picked a different area as I thought it would be peaceful and it wasn’t. I would not return for either campsite nor trails.

Quite spot with nice trails

Maybe 20 minutes from whitefish, this area offers only a handful of rustic sites as well boat launch parking. First come first serve. Lovely trails nearby with lake access. My dogs and I enjoyed our stay. Highly suggested.

Good Boondocking

Scenic lil boat launch not far from Jamestown. A few fire rings dispersed around the area. There was a water pump that looked to be broken. Vault toilet and a storage shed housing the picnic tables if you wanted to use one. The lake is beautiful. Got to watch storm pass thru while cows grazed on rolling hills across the water. Lovely.
