Anglers and hikers heading between Polebridge and Eureka will find Tuchuck a functional overnight stop in Flathead National Forest, with a creek running along the south side of the camp and fire rings at most sites. The road access is the defining factor here: the route west from Polebridge passes through rock slide zones and narrows to single track in spots, making it rough going for RVs despite the listed 22-foot maximum. The approach from Eureka is considerably easier. The campground is set up as a horse camp, with loading ramps and a water trough on site. Pit toilet, picnic tables, and trash service are available. Campers looking at places to camp around Flathead National Forest will find this one suits those comfortable with remote forest roads.
